AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL ARABIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Ramadan Dream Maker scored 19 from every Judge for her movement, and was awarded Top Ten.
Ramadan Markabella 2 year old filly (Makers Mark x Artell Arielle) scored equal Champion filly and was awarded Top Ten. She is pictured her with her proud new mother, Gay Leske.

Ramadan Dream Maker scored the highest scores for legs and feet, movement and type. She eventually went Top Ten.
The Ramadan bred gelding, Real McCoy by Ramadan Arabian Hafiid was awarded Australian Champion Arabian Stockhorse led and Reserve Champion ridden. All in all a good result for the weekend.

Makers Mark has produced another filly for Ramadan Stud this year, the filly out of Ramadan Arabian Kadin is full sister to the fantastic show mare, Ramadan Dream Maker. The new filly is chestnut and has the lovely movement that has made Ramadan horses sought after.
Artell Ariell has had a filly by Ramadan Marksman, she will make her debut at the Challenge show in 2010. She too is chestnut and inherited her sire's floating trot.
Ramadan Dream Maker (pictured below) has continued with her winning ways and was Champion mare and Supreme exhibit at the Premier show. Dream then went on to win the Premier cup, under saddle, ridden by Charlee Anthony. In May 2009, Dream was again triumphant at the Qld Challenge show where she won Champion Mare.
Robbie Hegarty trains and shows the Ramadan horses, and has been on the lead at every success. Recently, Robbie showed Makers Mark at the Tweed Valley's Murwillumbah show and won Champion Arabian stallion; Champion ANSA stallion, then Supreme led stallion of the show (all breeds) and to top it off, won the Queen Elizabeth 11 Silver Jubilee trophy for Supreme led exhibit. They led the grand parade with pride, as it has been 31 years since an Arabian has won this award.
The QE2 Silver Jubilee trophy is one of the most coveted awards in the Tweed Valley, horse breeders from all persuasions battle for it every year. To have your horses name on this magnificent trophy is every stud owners dream. The magnificent sterling silver trophy will be engraved with his name before being displayed in the Southern Cross Credit Union, in Murwillumbah.
